I grew up with you but now I don’t trust you. You infected me over and over again. You’re so slow and have the worst reputation. You kept saying you’d get better but you’ve always managed to stay the same. Sometimes I accidentally pull up your name and I wonder why I kept you. I found bigger and better and I’m so much happier now! I’m deleting you. Goodbye, Internet Explorer

This was my night tonight! Dita Von Teese and friends in Strip Strip Hooray! Santa Ana, CA, where she grew up in! I went with my burlesque troupe, Voluptuous Entertainment, for a girl’s night out! (And Doc, our photographer, he’s like one of the girls! Tee hee!) No photos could be taken of the acts once inside the venue but if I could, my goodness, a thousand words wouldn’t be enough!
The show was awesome, entertaining, and amazing! Dita Von Teese is unreal in person, she’s like a living, breathing doll, those costumes were like WOW! She did her famous martini glass number first, such a treat, she came out wearing a tuxedo, it was HOT!!! The other acts were so sexy and interesting! I liked the one Catherine D’lish did, she was posing on a giant spider web! The finale was Dita performing in an Asian inspired pagoda with an Asian inspired remix of Lullaby by The Cure and Young Folks by Peter Bjorn and John! In the end, gloved hands groped Dita from behind a beautiful fringe curtain until an explosion of flowers and confetti strewn the stage! It was fantastic!
Other notable acts for me where Monsieur Romeo’s Boy-lesque performance (he was HOT!). Perle Noire’s energetic performance, more akin to a gymnastics routine, was full of sass and attitude! Selene Luna was a sight to see, what an entrance on a little motorcycle!
There was only one problem where some narrow-minded punk decided to yell derogatory slurs at a group of gay people participating in a dance contest. Seriously, you’re entitled to your opinion but why on earth would you choose this venue or time to be negative?Security escorted him out and he was flipped off by many!
Everyone was dazzling, the MC, Murray Hill, was so funny!!! I enjoyed his spirit, humor, and energy, he made friends with our Daisi, with a passionate kiss! Didn’t expect that! The male act was ohh-la-la! This show gave me a few pointers on how to improve my own burlesque act. Namely, add so much glitter, gems, and shiny things to my costume! But seriously, this gave me some much needed insight on my own routines and I hope to apply that to my next performances! Hehhehe! Great night with my ladies! <3

COOL STORY ABOUT THIS PIC:
This pic of me was taken at Comikaze 2011 by a random passer-by. (With permission, of course, it’s very nice when people ask permission!) Fast-forward to March 2012, I’m talking to a nice young man named Josh at a friend’s party and we Facebook friend one another. This month of May, he posted this picture and tagged me in it, it was a picture from Comikaze 2011!!! I was surprised as all hell! It lead to this exchange:
Picture was taken by Josh’s friend, Chad Kanejokuokalani. What are the odds of running into someone a friend took a picture of months later? I love when little coincidences like this happen, it tickles me pink! I’m easily amused!
^.^
Random trip to Food For Less in Covina, CA, while looking for Mio Energy. We happen to park next to this truck that was covered in colored Post-Its!!! We came back from our shopping trip in time to see the owner of the truck, and a friend, pick off all of the Post-Its and leave them on the ground. He did not seem pleased, but I would have been if that were my car!
I’m easily amused :3

I bought this beautiful dress for $4 at the thrift store! And I checked the label, it’s a TRIPP brand dress in a LARGE! Besides the fact that I’m small enough to fit in a large (YAY!), Tripp brand clothing is expensive as all hell, and I got this dress in great condition for $4! THRIFT STORES ROCK!!!
